About Me

Hi my name is Brittney Hoggard, and I am 27 years old going to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This page is part of my class and I will use it to share writings and other things about myself. I live in Concord, NC and have since I was born. There aren't really any places i've been to except most of the surrounding states. I have been to Hawaii and lived there with my mother and grandmother, who was ill, for about two months. It was a very beautiful place to visit and the culture there is much like the Japanese. I love to draw, write poetry, and bowl, other than that I mostly just go to school and work hard at gaining my degrees. I am majoring in Psychology and Middle School education, and hope to become either a psychologist or a teacher. I love cats and have a black one named Mr. Snuggles, who isn't very affectionate, but I like him. My real goal in life though is to get to visit and see all of Greece, and perhaps get to study there one day. I love the culture, mythology, and language of Greece, as well as Rome. If I could go any place in the world it would be Greece, to see all the magnificent art and architecture of the ancient times. I hope to learn how to be able to write better than I do now with this class, I wanted to be an author many times in my life, and maybe this class will help me with that.
